Designing beautiful carpets for a sustainable future
We exist to design beautiful carpets for a sustainable future. By continuously rethinking the ways of production and pioneering the art of creative design, we believe in making sustainability a beautiful choice.
It all started in 1938 with the entrepreneurial spirit of our founder, who envisioned and realized novel carpet creations by weaving the traditions of arts into the crafts of industrial quality. From a virtue of persistency, he believed that if you keep at it, and work hard, anything is possible.
While it is our business to create exceptional carpets, it has always been our ethical duty to inspire for the progress of society. By constantly challenging the conventions of production, we impatiently demand more of today to ensure that we create a better tomorrow – one carpet at a time.

EGE Wall to Wall Carpets

For commercial projects with big design ambitions or large floor surfaces, a wall-to-wall carpet – also called a broadloom carpet – can be the ideal choice.
When the design appears as one large pattern without physical joins and breaks, a very special look is achieved with a wall-to-wall carpet, as the carpet is fundamental in connecting the room’s interior design elements.
You can choose between a variety of different carpet qualities, which differ in fibre type, construction and price. In addition, there are a number of backing options with a variety of qualities in terms of materials, acoustic-dampening properties and comfort. This means that a wall-to-wall carpet’s physical components can be combined to meet the needs of any commercial project or budget.
The wall-to-wall carpet design is paramount to a room’s atmosphere, as the specific pattern and colour choices amplify or downplay the visual effect. Take a closer look at the many possibilities with wall-to-wall carpets.

As a designer or architect, you know the flooring you choose is incredibly important. There are countless resources chronicling the importance of paint and lighting—of course, these are important choices too—but without being biased, perhaps the most important piece of the puzzle is flooring!

There are so many advantages to having wall-to-wall carpets in commercial spaces that you can’t go wrong. Wall-to-wall carpets offer many practical benefits, such as superior comfort, attractive acoustic and thermal qualities as well as greater safety compared to hard surface alternatives

Ege Carpets wants to contribute to a more sustainable world. So we developed our ReForm collection produced from recycled and recyclable materials, because we care about the environment and we know you do too.
All our carpet tiles and planks come with our patented Ecotrust backing. Used plastic bottles are converted into a soft but durable felt that will benefit acoustics, comfort levels – and the environment

Many of our collections are made from regenerated and regenerable yarn. The fact that the yarn is regenerated simply means that it’s manufactured from waste products in a particular type of nylon (Nylon 6). That the yarn is regenerable means that after use it can be converted into new nylon products.

Instead of just adding a new collection made from recycled materials to the assortment, we constantly look into our entire portfolio to find new ways of optimising the core products and processes. This is where the volume is, so this is what really matters.
Obviously, we concentrate on the characteristics of the ingredients and our resource spending but durability is a key element too! The longer our carpets last, the less our customers need to buy. With sustainability, it can be as simple as that.
In our opinion, the right footprint is no footprint. We work hard to bring down the negative footprint and to increase the positive footprint. And we have done that for years.
